Can parents with multiple children use one account?

Yes. Parents can access information for all of their children within a single account, making communication and engagement much simpler.

Can staff who are also parents use one login?

Yes. Users who are both staff members and parents can manage both roles from a single account.

Can we send urgent notifications to parents?

Yes. Edvolve includes native push notifications, allowing schools to communicate important updates quickly and directly to parents' mobile devices.

Does Edvolve work on desktop as well as mobile?

Yes. School staff can access Edvolve through desktop and laptop devices alongside the mobile app, while parents and students benefit from the dedicated mobile app experience.

Can documents, images and videos be shared through the platform?

Yes. Schools can securely share documents, images and other multimedia content through messaging, classrooms, libraries and news feeds, depending on the package selected.

What about the mobile phone ban?

Edvolve is a school-managed platform. The phone ban applies to personal devices and does not affect how Edvolve is managed by staff. Admin and finance teams work on desktop or laptop alongside the mobile app, teachers and school management access it on desktop, laptop and mobile, parents and students use the school app. Students access the mobile app outside of school hours (where applicable).

Do we need to replace our MIS?

No. Your MIS manages your data. Edvolve is the experience layer your school community uses every day. It works alongside your existing systems or as your primary platform, depending on your needs.

Can Edvolve be rolled out across multiple schools within a MAT?

Yes. Edvolve supports multi-academy trusts through trust-wide deployments, while still allowing individual schools to maintain their own branding, content and communication preferences.
