Built with AppyHive®

AppyHive has been designing and developing digital products for more than fifteen years. During that time we've worked with organisations of different sizes and across a variety of sectors, each with its own way of working and its own priorities. Although every project has been different, one thing has remained consistent, people don't usually ask for more features or more complicated systems, they would like software that is reliable, straightforward to use and fits naturally into the way they already work.

As we spent more time getting to know schools, we found ourselves hearing many of the same experiences. Communication was often spread across several platforms, information was being entered more than once and staff were moving between different systems throughout the day, parents were sometimes expected to keep track of multiple apps and websites, each serving a different purpose. Schools, therefore, had adopted the tools they needed at the time, but over the years those tools had gradually become more difficult to manage together.

We already had years of experience developing software, but we didn't want to take something we'd created for another sector and simply present it as a school platform. Schools work differently, and we felt they deserved something developed with those differences in mind and that meant taking everything we'd learnt through AppyHive and applying it to a platform designed specifically for education.

Edvolve is built on our proprietary platform, Lounge75, which has evolved over many years through real projects and real customer feedback. That experience gave us a solid foundation, allowing us to focus our attention on understanding the everyday needs of schools rather than solving problems we'd already encountered elsewhere. From the beginning, our aim has been to create a platform that feels familiar, dependable and easy to adopt, bringing communication, engagement and school life together in one place.

AppyHive is a named supplier on the Government Commercial Agency's G Cloud 14 Framework, under Lot 2: Cloud Software (SaaS) – Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, usually accessed over the internet or private network and hosted in the cloud.

We are proud to be recognised as a finalist in the Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2026. While we're grateful for the recognition, what matters most to us is the confidence our customers place in us. We believe trust is earned by listening carefully, communicating openly and continuing to improve the products we create. Those principles guide every decision we make, from the way we design new features to the way we support the schools that choose to work with us.

Edvolve will continue to develop as we learn from the schools using it every day. We don't expect all of the best ideas to come from our own office, the most valuable ideas often come from the people using a product in their everyday work and listening to those experiences has always been one of the most important parts of how we work.

We know choosing a new platform is an important decision for any school and we never take that responsibility for granted. If you've taken the time to read our story, thank you. We hope it's the beginning of a long relationship with your school and the community you support.
